We have a deck in the back that is in poor condition, so I asked him to keep away from it. He was able to clean the whole roof just from the front. Because the moss was very thick, it didn't all come off, but he assured me the remaining patches of moss would die off in the next couple of weeks (if they don't, he will come back to treat them again). Brent did a great job. The roof looks much better.He also cleaned up any moss or debris that he cleaned off the roof, so there was nothing left over on the ground. I emailed the company to get an estimate and received an estimate based on the square footage of the house and the type of work to be done. I requested a morning appointment for the work to be done and was pleasantly surprised to be able to get an appointment for the following morning. The person from AA arrived promptly and after inspecting the roof increased the estimate $25 from the original $250 due to the extent of the moss growth. This increase seemed entirely reasonable to me. With the Angie's list coupon of $20 off, the total came to $260 with tax. Since I needed to get to the office, I prepaid for the job. I arrived home and inspected the work. The roof was completely clear of moss, the gutters clean and the area surrounding the house was clean of any moss debris.
